DISCOVERING AND CHERISHING OUR PLANET
Buffalo Lake Nature Club encourages people of all ages to share in the discovery and the love of this planet. Every living thing matters; from the tiniest mite to the largest of trees.
Thank you to Noah from Ms. Wagner's online class for reminding us of this.
Please find his suggestion on our Links page.
Nature Alberta 2024 Theme
Invasive Species
Invasive Species of Alberta concern the ecological integrity of our natural areas. Of flora and fauna, they negatively impact our native species and threaten natural habitats by outcompeting them for food, space and water, and often spread prolifically without predation or other natural control measures.

This year, we aim to spread awareness of the many invasive species in our area and what people can do about them.
