What better way to spend a little time in the summer than to do some exploration of various nature areas in the Buffalo Lake area and beyond?

We've visited a variety of areas over the last few summers since we started these summer nature walks in 2020. These include:

  • Guided walks at Buffalo Lake Moraine Conservation Area, including Potter's Seep guided hikes

  • Lady Slipper Orchid walk at The Narrows Provincial Recreational Area

  • Annual Picnic Potluck at Rochon Sands

  • Jack Knife Lake (nature conservation site north of Stettler)

  • Spruce Coulee Natural Area guided walk

  • Bar Harbour and hike up to Boss Hill at the Churchill-Welsh property (natural area)

  • Guided Donalda Coulee Walk

  • Alix Lake nature trails

  • Pelican Point nature trails

  • Annual Butterfly Count at Dry Island Buffalo Jump Provincial Park

To stay up to date with the latest times and locations for our summer nature walks, don't hesitate to get in touch with us to get more information.
