We welcome all interested in nature to our monthly meetings and nature walks.
Meetings and Events
Our monthly meetings feature talks by various experts!
They are held on the third Thursday of every month (excluding June, July, August & December) starting at 7:00 pm!
Unless otherwise noted, all meetings are held at
Lower Hall of St. George's Anglican Church on 4817- 51 Street in Stettler, AB.

July 5th: Annual Butterfly Count
Come help the Alberta Lepidopterists’ Guild find butterflies in this scenic provincial park as we continue Dr. Charley Bird’s legacy since 1999.
Dress for hot weather, wear closed-toe footwear, and bring a lawn chair, plenty of water and your lunch. We will have butterfly nets for loan, but bring your own specimen container. The event begins at 10 AM and wraps up around 3 PM.
We need volunteers to handle registration, act as club and butterfly ambassadors, and be on hand as First Aiders. If you know of a First Aider who is available, please let us know.
