A note was provided to us by one of our members, Dr. Charley Bird, about a sighting of geese that were taking a rest stop at Erskine Lake, west of Stettler.
Charley writes:
Ann and I took a drive this afternoon. We found close to 1000 white-fronted geese and a dozen snow geese on the islands in Erskine Lake. We also saw at least 1000 Lesser Canada Geese on the water beside the south shore of Erskine Lake (as observed from the highway).
