(April 11, 2021) Ann and I had a drive around Erskine Lake (an IAB) this afternoon. There weren’t many ducks on the water (a few mallards, scaup and pintails), no coots. We saw 40 or so Greater Canada Geese around the water plus a flock of 50 or so Lesser Canada Geese.
On the ground, around a pond 1 mile south of Erskine Lake (see above), I estimated at least 500 Snow Geese, plus small numbers of Lesser Canada Geese and White-fronted Geese.
